‘Then you felt cobwebs clogging up your lungs…’

The words ‘… cobwebs clogging…’ uses three poetic techniques: alliteration (the repetition of the ‘c’); onomatopoeia (where ‘clogging’ sounds like the action); and, a metaphor (the cobwebs don’t really ‘clog’ lungs; it just feels like it).
